The Holidays seem to fly by. I don't know where all of the time goes. This year on Christmas Eve morning we celebrated Christmas with my dad and then had lunch. We hung out for a little while and then headed back home to get ready for Scott's family get together. Every Christmas Eve his whole family (50 of them) get together for dinner and fellowship. This year it seemed the great grandchildren had doubled from last year. Just think we are going to be adding to it this year! Christmas morning Scott and I exchanged presents before heading over to his parent's house for breakfast and the opening of gifts. We were home for about an hour before we headed back out to Alblemarle to celebrate Christmas with my mom and sisters.
Let's just say this is why we took 2 naps on Monday. We were exhausted after two full days of traveling. We feel so blessed to be able to have our family close enough to spend Christmas with all of them.
